Why Your Washington, MO, Window Exteriors Need Cleaning

Natural Light

Inviting more natural light into your home has several benefits. The most obvious advantage is that you get to see more light! With clean windows, no stains will obstruct the light entering your home.

With more natural light, you can decrease energy usage, decreasing your energy bills. It can also help improve your mood and health quality, while you soak up Vitamin D.

Curb Appeal

Whether you're looking to boost your house's value before listing on the market or just have the cleanest house on the block, clean windows are critical. Both when it's you looking out and when it's others looking at your home, a clear view is essential.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, no matter who you're having over. Staying on top of your window cleaning will boost your curb appeal and make everyone feel welcome.

Improved Window Condition

Dirt increases wear and tear, while cleaning reduces it. It's really as simple as that. More debris leads to more friction, and mold develops, that can damage the structure of your windows.

When you clean your windows properly and regularly, they last longer, stopping you from needing to buy replacements. And with our 18-month mold-free guarantee, you can rest easy that your clean windows will last for the long haul. If any mold return within the 18 months, we'll give your windows another cleaning, for free.

Advantages of Hiring Professional Window Washers

Interior windows and exterior windows are different in this regard. It's reasonable for most people to clean their own window interiors, and it's a good idea to do so frequently. Exterior windows, on the other hand, offer unique obstacles that make it important to hire a trained cleaner. Our cleaners are OSHA-trained and certified, and have extensive experience washing windows and homes in the Washington area.

When you hire a professional Washington, MO, window cleaner, you get access to the following perks:

  • Specialized tools that allow us to safely and effectively clean your home's windows, such as our water-fed pole system.
  • Proprietary, eco-friendly cleaning solutions that don't leave streaks or damage your windows, like many over-the-counter options.
  • Safely reach high spots and don't risk falling off of a ladder, injuring yourself.
  • Save time for more important things – plus, we can often take care of the job faster.
  • Find issues with your windows that you may have missed: Small cracks, chips in the glass, weakened seals, or other things that you might not notice on your own.
  • A better clean than you can get on your own. Our goal is to make your windows as clean as new.

Hiring a professional window cleaner is about quality, but it's more than that. Your time, your well-being, and your home maintenance are all reasons to look at working with the experts. And at CleanPro, you can know that you'll have cleanest windows on the block.

Differences Between Cleaning Exterior Windows and Other House Exterior Cleaning

Many people are not be able to identify what to differently with window cleaning versus the rest of your house. But washing each part of your house the right way is essential to protect your home from unintended damage or wear.

Soft Washing Your Washington, MO, Home's Exteriors

House soft washing is a method we use to clean your home's exteriors, from panel siding to bricks, and everything in between. Rather than using the high pressure of a regular pressure-wash, soft washing uses less water pressure, which protects your home from being damaged by the cleaning.

Rather than depending on pressure to take care of the clean, we use a safe blend of chemicals to detach debris from your home's siding, making it easy for the water to wash, without needing pressure.

Exterior Window Washing Via Water-Fed Pole Systems

When cleaning exterior windows, we use an innovative water-fed pole system to scrub and rinse your windows at the same time. It actually works similarly to softwashing, in that it also avoids high levels of water pressure and relies on chemical cleaners. What distinguishes the water-fed pole system is its use of a brush at the end of the pole to wash your windows and prevent streaks and stains.

To properly care for your windows while cleaning, our team uses filtered, purified water that won't leave behind new debris or any mineral buildup. This system can also reach high spots, up to third-floor windows, without leaving the ground. Everyone stays safe and your windows get clean.

Power Washing for Other Surfaces

Our residential power washing services can handle anything that the soft-washing and window washing techniques don't cover. For harder surfaces, tougher stains, and any messes you don't know what to do with, we can let you know if pressure washing is the answer.

Hardier surfaces like concrete driveways, wooden decks, metal furniture, and more can all be pressure-washed. For your home to look its best, you need the whole thing to be cleaned, not just the windows and siding. Combining all your cleaning needs save you time and boost your property value.

Here's a list of the different residential cleaning services we offer at CleanPro:

Washington, MO, Frequently Asked Questions on Exterior Window Cleaning

It's easy to tell when your windows are dirty. But it's not always easy making a plan to address it: How frequently should you have them cleaned, and what techniques are safe? Well, we've collected some frequently asked questions from Washington, MO, homeowners and answered them for you here:

How often should I clean my exterior windows?

Residential windows typically need to be washed semiannually. Commercial properties normally require more, at least three or four per year.

Should I get my windows cleaned in winter?

Yes! Most people don't clean as frequently in the cold and snow, but because of that, dirt and debris build up. Winter cleaning or early in the spring limits wear and tear from the winter dirt.

Does it make sense to wash windows and siding at the same time?

You can – keep in mind that you won't want to use the same cleaning method, though. Our technicians will be equipped for both your windows and siding, and can handle both at the same time.

Is it safe to pressure wash windows?

Generally, no. While it's technically possible to use a pressure washer on a window without damaging it, if used improperly or with too much pressure, it can scratch and crack the glass.

How do professionals wash windows?

Professional window cleaners use gentle water and powerful cleaning agents to wash window exteriors. At CleanPro, we specifically use a water-fed pole system to make your windows as clear as possible.

Should I wash my windows' interiors at the same time as their exteriors?

Yes – for your windows to let light in effectively, all of them will need to be clean.
