Why Your Twin Oaks, MO, Window Exteriors Need Cleaning

There are many benefits of keeping your home's exterior windows clean, for your property and your wellbeing. Here, you can read about some of the most prominent ones you can look forward to:

Natural Light

Allowing additional natural light into your home has several benefits. The most obvious advantage is that you'll have more light! With clear windows, fewer smudges will get in the way of light entering your home.

With more natural light, you can improve energy efficiency, cutting down your energy bills. It can also help boost your mood and health quality, while you soak up Vitamin D.

Curb Appeal

Whether you're looking to raise property value before listing on the market or just have the cleanest house on the block, clean windows are a must. Both when it's you looking out and when it's others looking at your home, a clean view is key.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, no matter who you're having over. Taking care of your window cleaning will boost your curb appeal and make everyone feel more at ease.

Improved Window Condition

Dirt causes problems, and cleaning solves them. It's really as simple as that. More debris leads to more friction, and if you get mold, that can degrade the structure of your windows.

Staying on top of cleaning your windows slows wear and tear, stopping you from needing to buy replacements. And with our 18-month mold-free guarantee, you can rest easy that your clean windows will last for the long haul. If any mold does come back within the 18 months, we'll give your windows another cleaning, for free.

Advantages of Hiring Professional Window Washers

Interior windows and exterior windows are different in this regard. It's reasonable for most people to clean their own window interiors, and it's a good idea to do so regularly. Exterior windows, however, offer unique challenges that make it important to work with a professional. Our cleaners are OSHA-trained and certified, and have extensive experience washing windows and homes in the Twin Oaks area.

When you hire a professional Twin Oaks, MO, window cleaner, you can take advantage of the below benefits:

  • Specialized tools that protect your windows from damage while cleaning, like our water-fed pole system.
  • Proprietary, eco-friendly cleaning formulas which give your windows a safer, more effective clean than the stuff you can find at the store.
  • Safely reach high spots and don't risk falling off of a ladder, injuring yourself.
  • Save time for more important things – plus, we can generally take care of the job faster.
  • Identify issues with your windows that you may have missed: Small cracks, chips in the glass, loose seals, or other warning signs you'll want to be aware of.
  • A better clean that's up to professional standards. We clean your house's windows as well as we'd want our own house cleaned.

Hiring a professional window cleaner is about quality, but it's more than that. Your time, your well-being, and your home maintenance all benefit from working with the experts. And at CleanPro, you can know that you'll have clearest windows on the block.

Differences Between Cleaning Exterior Windows and Other House Exterior Cleaning

The average homeowner might not be able to tell the difference between how you should clean your windows versus the rest of your house. But treating the different parts of your home correctly is critical to ensure that your whole home is properly cleaned and cared for.

Soft Washing Your Twin Oaks, MO, Home's Exteriors

House soft washing is a method we use to wash much of your home's exteriors, from wood to stucco, and most others you can think of. Instead of using the high pressure of a typical pressure-wash, soft washing uses less water pressure, keeping your home safe from damage that could result from excessive force.

Instead of depending on pressure to wash contaminants off your house, our proprietary cleaning solutions unstick dirt and debris, making it easy for the water to wash, without needing pressure.

Exterior Window Washing Via Water-Fed Pole Systems

For exterior window cleaning, we use a modern water-fed pole system to scrub and rinse your windows at the same time. It actually works similarly to softwashing, in that it also avoids high levels of water pressure and relies on chemical cleaners. What makes the water-fed pole system different is that it uses a brush at the end of the pole to wash your windows and prevent streaks and stains.

To properly care for your windows while cleaning, our team uses filtered, purified water that won't leave behind new dirt or any mineral buildup. This system can also reach high spots, as tall as third-floor windows, without leaving the ground. Your windows get a high-quality clean, and our team stays safe in the process.

Power Washing for Other Surfaces

Our residential power washing services can handle anything that the soft-washing and window washing techniques don't cover. For harder surfaces, tougher stains, and any contaminants that you're at the end of your rope with, we can let you know if pressure washing is the answer.

Pressure washing is great for cleaning sidewalks, driveways, concrete, many fences and decks, and many other surfaces. For your home to look its best, you need the whole thing to be cleaned, not just the windows and siding. Combining all your cleaning needs save you time and boost your property value.

Here's a list of the different residential cleaning services we offer at CleanPro:

Twin Oaks, MO, Frequently Asked Questions on Exterior Window Cleaning

Making a plan to clean your exterior windows is easier said than done: How often should you have them cleaned, and what's the safest way to do so? Well, we've put together some of the most common questions from Twin Oaks, MO, homeowners and provided answers below:

How frequently should I clean my exterior windows?

For residential windows, we recommend two cleanings per year. Businesses normally require more, generally three or four per year.

Should I get my windows cleaned in winter?

Yes! Most people don't clean as frequently in the cold and snow, but because of that, dirt and debris build up. Cleaning during the winter or early in the spring can prevent scratches and other damage.

Can you wash windows and siding at the same time?

You can – though they will require different techniques. A professional power washer will bring equipment for both your windows and siding, and can take care of both on the same day.

Is it safe to pressure wash windows?

Generally, no. While it's technically possible to pressure-wash a window and not harm it, if used improperly or with too much pressure, it can scratch and break the glass.

How do professionals wash windows?

By using low water pressure and safe, effective cleaning chemicals, professionals provide a very effective window clean. At CleanPro, we specifically use a water-fed pole system to make your windows as clear as possible.

Should I wash my windows' interiors and exteriors at the same time?

Yes – for viewing pleasure, curb appeal, and to effectively let natural light in, you will want to clean both sides of your windows.
