Why Your Rock Hill, MO, Window Exteriors Need to be Cleaned

There are numerous benefits of keeping your home's exterior windows clean, ranging from energy efficiency to psychological boosts. Below, we've outlined the main ones you can look forward to:

Natural Light

Improving the flow of natural light into your home has several benefits. The most obvious advantage is that you get to see more light! With freshly washed windows, less debris will get in the way of light entering your home.

With more natural light, you can decrease energy usage, lowering your energy bills. It can also help boost your mood and health quality, while you soak up Vitamin D.

Curb Appeal

Whether you're looking to raise real estate value before a sale or just have the sharpest looking house on the block, clean windows are critical. Both when it's you looking out and when it's others looking at your home, a clean view is essential.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, no matter who you're having over. Being proactive with your window cleaning will protect your image and keep everyone feeling comfortable.

Improved Window Condition

Dirt increases wear and tear, while cleaning reduces it. It's really as simple as that. More debris leads to increased friction, and if you get mold, it can eat away at the structure of your windows.

Regular and proper cleanings extend the lifespan of your windows, reducing the need for replacements. And with our 18-month mold-free guarantee, your windows are protected from growths for over a year after we wash them. If any mold sprouts back up within the 18 months, we'll take care of it, for free.

Advantages of Hiring Professional Window Washers

Some windows, mostly interior ones, are possible to clean yourself, and it's proper home care to do so often. Exterior windows, however, provide unique challenges that make it important to work with a professional. Our team is OSHA-trained and certified, and have extensive experience washing windows in the Rock Hill area.

When working with a professional Rock Hill, MO, window washer, you get access to the following perks:

  • Safely reach high spots without your needing to precariously balance on a ladder, risking your health and safety.
  • Save time and use it for something fun or productive – plus, we can often get the job done faster.
  • Identify issues that are easy to miss: Small cracks, chips in the glass, weakened seals, or other things that you might not notice on your own.
  • A better clean than you can get on your own. We won't leave until your windows are completely spotless.

When you hire a professional to wash your window exteriors, it's not just for the cleaning itself. Your time, your well-being, and your home maintenance all benefit from working with the experts. And at CleanPro, we want to give you the cleanest windows in the area.

Differences Between Exterior Window Washing and the Rest of Your House

Many people are not be able to identify what to differently with window cleaning versus the rest of your house. But the difference is important to properly take care of your home.

Soft Washing Your Rock Hill, MO, Home's Exteriors

House soft washing is a method we use to clean many surfaces from your home's exteriors, from wood to stucco, and most others you can think of. Instead of using the intense power of an ordinary pressure-wash, soft washing uses lower water pressure, keeping your home safe from damage that could result from excessive force.

In place of depending on pressure to remove the dirt from your home's exterior, we use our exclusive cleaning formula to loosen and remove contaminants, making it easy for the water to wash, without needing pressure.

Exterior Window Washing Via Water-Fed Pole Systems

For exterior window cleaning, we use an innovative water-fed pole system to clean your windows quickly and effectively. Similar to softwashing it also doesn't need much water pressure and mostly makes use of cleaning solutions. The main difference is its use of a brush at the end of the pole to scrub your windows and prevent streaks and stains.

To properly care for your windows while cleaning, our team uses filtered, purified water that won't leave behind new debris or any mineral buildup. This system can also reach high spots, as tall as third-floor windows, without leaving the ground. You get a fast, effective clean, and we stay safe while we're doing the job.

Power Washing for Other Surfaces

Our power washing services cover anything that the soft-washing and window cleaning don't already handle. For harder surfaces, tougher stains, and any messes you don't know what to do with, we can use pressure washing techniques to wipe them away.

Pressure washing is great for cleaning sidewalks, driveways, concrete, many fences and decks, and many other surfaces. If you only clean your home's windows and exterior, you risk a rough contrast with other parts of your property. When you opt for a full-property clean, it can save you time and boost your property value.

Rock Hill, MO, FAQs on Exterior Window Cleaning

It's easy to tell when your windows are dirty. But it's not always easy making a plan to address it: How often should you have them cleaned, and what's the safest way to do so? Well, we've pulled some frequently asked questions from Rock Hill, MO, homeowners and answered them for you here:

How frequently should I wash my exterior windows?

Residential windows typically need to be washed semiannually. Commercial properties usually need more, often three or four per year.

Is it worth getting windows cleaned in winter?

Yes! Most people don't clean as frequently in the cold and snow, but because of that, dirt and debris build up. Washing in the winter or early in the spring limits wear and tear from the winter dirt.

Does it make sense to wash windows and siding at the same time?

You can – keep in mind that you won't want to use the same cleaning method, though. A professional power washer will be equipped for both your windows and siding, and can take care of both at the same time.

Is it safe to pressure wash windows?

Typically, no. While it's technically possible to use a pressure washer on a window without damaging it, if used improperly or with too much pressure, it can scratch and break the glass.

How do professionals clean windows?

Professional window cleaners use gentle water and powerful cleaning agents to wash window exteriors. At CleanPro, we specifically use a water-fed pole system to make your windows as clear as possible.

Should I wash my windows' interiors at the same time as their exteriors?

Yes – if you want to reap the benefits of having better natural light in your home, both sides of your windows need to be clean and clear.
