Why Your Richmond Heights, MO, Window Exteriors Need Cleaning

There are several advantages of keeping your home's exterior windows clean, both physically and mentally. Below, we've outlined the main ones you'll enjoy:

Natural Light

Improving the flow of natural light into your home has several benefits. The most obvious benefit is that you get more light! With clean windows, no stains will taint or block the light entering your home.

With more natural light, you can decrease energy usage, cutting down your energy bills. It can also help improve your mood and health quality, since you'll increase your Vitamin D.

Curb Appeal

Whether you're looking to raise property value before a sale or just have the sharpest looking house in the neighborhood, clean windows are critical. No matter who is looking through your windows, and where from, a untainted view is key.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, no matter who you're having over. Staying on top of your window cleaning will protect your image and make everyone feel more at ease.

Improved Window Condition

Dirt wears your windows out faster, and washing stops it from doing so. It's really as simple as that. More debris leads to increased friction, and if you get mold, that can eat away at the structure of your windows.

When you clean your windows properly and regularly, they last longer, stopping you from needing to buy replacements. And with our 18-month mold-free guarantee, you can rest easy that your clean windows will last for the long haul. If any mold return within the 18 months, we'll take care of it, for free.

Advantages of Hiring Professional Window Washers

Exterior windows provide unique challenges. You can probably effectively clean your own interior windows, and you'd be wise to do so often. Exterior windows, however, provide unique risks that make it important to call in the pros. • Save time for more important things – plus, we can often take care of the job faster.
  • Find issues that are easy to miss: Small cracks, chips in the glass, loose seals, or other things that you might not notice on your own.
  • A better clean that's up to professional standards. We won't leave until your windows are completely spotless.

Differences Between Washing Exterior Windows and Cleaning Other Parts of Your House

The average homeowner might not be able to distinguish window cleaning versus the rest of your house. But treating the different parts of your home correctly is essential to ensure that your whole home is properly cleaned and cared for.

Soft Washing Your Richmond Heights, MO, Home's Exteriors

House soft washing is a method we use to clean your home's exteriors, from wood to stucco, and everything in between. Rather than using the intense power of a typical pressure-wash, soft washing uses lower water pressure, which protects your home from being damaged by the cleaning.

In place of depending on pressure to wash contaminants off your house, we use our exclusive cleaning formula to loosen and remove contaminants, making it easy for the water to wash, without needing pressure.

Exterior Window Washing Via Water-Fed Pole Systems

When cleaning exterior windows, we use a modern water-fed pole system to scrub and rinse your windows at the same time. Like softwashing it also avoids high levels of water pressure and predominantly uses chemical cleaners. What distinguishes the water-fed pole system is that it uses a brush at the end of the pole to wipe your windows and remove any streaks and stains.

To give your windows the best clean possible, we use pure, filtered water that won't leave behind new dirt or any mineral buildup. This system can also reach high spots, up to third-floor windows, without leaving the ground. Your windows get a high-quality clean, and our team stays safe in the process.

Power Washing for Other Surfaces

Our power washing services can handle anything that the soft-washing and window washing techniques don't cover. For harder surfaces, tougher stains, and any problem spots that nothing seems to work on, we can let you know if pressure washing is the answer.

Pressure washing is great for cleaning sidewalks, driveways, concrete, many fences and decks, and many other surfaces. For your home to look its best, you need the whole thing to be cleaned, not just the windows and siding. Cleaning everything at once can save you time and improve your property value.

Here's a list of the different residential cleaning services we offer at CleanPro:

Richmond Heights, MO, Frequently Asked Questions on Exterior Window Cleaning

Even if you already know that your exterior windows need to be cleaned, you might have questions on the specifics: How frequently should you have them washed, and what's the safest way to do so? Well, we've put together some of the most common questions from Richmond Heights, MO, homeowners and answered them for you here:

How often should I clean my exterior windows?

For residential windows, we recommend two cleanings per year. Stores and other businesses normally need more, generally three or four per year.

Should I get my windows cleaned in winter?

Yes! While your cleanings could take place any season, winters tend to be particularly dirty for windows. Winter cleaning or early in the spring stops the buildup of dirt from getting out of hand..

Can you wash windows and siding at the same time?

You can – keep in mind that you won't want to use the same cleaning method, though. A professional power washer will bring equipment for both your windows and siding, and can take care of both on the same day.

Is it safe to pressure wash windows?

Generally, no. While it's technically possible clean a window with a pressure washer without causing damage, if used improperly or with too much pressure, it can scratch and crack the glass.

How do professionals clean windows?

Professional window cleaners use gentle water and powerful cleaning agents to wash window exteriors. Using new techniques and tools, like our water-fed pole system, at CleanPro, we have effective ways to make your windows as clear as possible.

Should I wash my windows' interiors at the same time as their exteriors?

Yes – for viewing pleasure, curb appeal, and to effectively let natural light in, you will want to clean both sides of your windows.
