What Is House Power Washing?

In Fenton, MO, house power washing uses high-pressure, often heated water to clear heavy buildup from solid, non-painted surfaces—oil, rubber, salt, and baked-on grime on concrete, brick, stone, and pavers. Soft washing, by contrast, uses low pressure and detergents for paint, trim, and roofing. Most jobs combine both: we soft-wash the house and power-wash the hardscapes for consistent results and longer-lasting clean.

Who Power Washing Is For

Power washing supports maintenance, listing readiness, and property management. Here’s who benefits most:

Homeowners: boost curb appeal, stay inspection/photo ready, and maximize the life of paint, roofs, and hardscapes.

Property managers & HOAs: keep entries presentable and safer underfoot, manage algae in shaded areas, and follow a simple maintenance cadence.

Light commercial: restaurants, storefronts, and parking garages where curb appeal and safety both matter.

Home Power Washing in Fenton, MO - Deck Cleaning Services and Pressure Washing

Why Hire Local Fenton, MO, Pros for House Power Washing?

Hiring local pros prevents costly mistakes and keeps your place in good shape. Around St. Louis, heat, humidity, shade, and freeze–thaw make runoff control and a consistent finish trickier than they look. We match method to material, tune chemistry to the surface, and manage water so plants, paint, and foundations stay safe.

CleanPro applies the right approach on each surface: soft wash for paint and trim; wood-safe pressure for decks and fences; pretreat plus rotary clean for concrete and pavers; and low-pressure, shingle-safe treatments on roofs. We control water using smart hose runs, rinses that follow the grade, and vacuum recovery on hardscapes when it matters. We safeguard landscaping with pre-wet treatments, shielding, and other methods to avoid harm to shrubs and turf.

Expect a balanced, long-lasting clean—no damage, no streaking, no headaches.

Seasonal Patterns

In Fenton, the weather drives exterior upkeep. Spring coats windows, patio furniture, and siding with pollen and leaves salt/winter grime on steps, porches, and walkways, with algae returning on north and east faces. Summer heat and humidity intensify growth on shaded walls and lower courses; roof streaks get darker, and patios absorb daily spills—sunscreen, grease, drinks—into concrete and pavers.

Fall brings leaf tannins that stain concrete and pavers; mud can spatter lower siding/fences, and entries often get slick after rain. Winter adds salt and ice-melt marks on driveways/walks, while freeze–thaw drives grime into hairline cracks and shade can sustain mildew. We align cleaning schedules with these trends to extend results.

Home Power Washing in Fenton, MO - Fence Pressure Washing in STL

Benefits of Fenton, MO, House Power Washing

Treat the exterior as a system, not a single surface. A balanced soft-wash and power-wash combo slows organic regrowth, guards finishes, boosts traction on walkways, and returns concrete and pavers to an even look—keeping curb appeal steady across seasons.

  • Reduce regrowth: chemistry tackles algae/mildew where it starts
  • Protect finishes: shingle-safe and paint-safe methods prevent damage
  • Safer underfoot: cut slick films on decks, stair treads, and thresholds
  • Uniform look: create consistent color and tone on the front approach and hardscapes

Roof Cleaning

Dark shingle trails signal living growth that stores heat and moisture. Roof cleaning applies a gentle, shingle-safe mix at low pressure to protect granules and stop streaks from feeding onto washed siding. Expect a neater roofline with fewer runoff marks after rains.

Fence Washing

UV and overspray speed oxidation and algae growth. Fence washing resets the surface so coatings last longer and edges read crisp. It evens panel color for a cleaner look from the street.

Deck Washing

Rain pushes stains deeper, not off the surface. Deck washing restores grip on steps, levels traffic patterns, and prepares boards so stain or sealer bonds evenly. Expect surer footing in the next storm.

Driveways

Curb appeal begins with the slab out front. We pretreat spots, make an even pass with rotary surface cleaners, and finish with a thorough rinse. Driveway cleaning removes embedded oil, leaf shadows, and tire arcs for a uniform approach that photographs cleanly.

Porches, Patios & Walkways

Porous concrete and pavers trap grime, especially in shade. Porch, patio, and walkway cleaning flushes the pores, treats joint growth, and preserves paver sand—improving traction and color consistency.

Exterior Windows

Clean walls + cloudy windows = tired curb appeal. Exterior window cleaning is the finishing touch so daylight pops inside and the exterior reads clean. We rinse after surrounding washes to keep spotting down.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most common questions we get about house power washing in St. Louis.

How often should I have my house washed?

Most homes benefit from a spring reset and a fall refresh; add a mid-summer visit if shade, trees, or heavy deck/patio traffic are factors.

What’s the difference between power washing and soft washing?

Power washing is the pressure (often heated) approach for concrete and brick. Soft washing is the low-pressure, detergent-led method for paint, trim, and roofs. We commonly soft-wash the house and power-wash the hardscapes during the same service.

Will this damage my plants, paint, or windows?

We pre-wet and shield landscaping, use low pressure on siding and trim, and rinse windows after nearby work. The process protects finishes and helps prevent spotting on the glass.

Do you pressure wash roofs?

No. We use a shingle-safe soft wash on asphalt roofs at low pressure so granules stay put. That treats streaks without shortening roof life.

Can you remove oxidation or “tiger stripes” on vinyl and gutters?

Yes. We handle oxidation and gutter streaks with the right solution and a low-pressure rinse; spot-blasting at high pressure creates tiger stripes, so we avoid it.

What should I do before you arrive?

Close windows, stash small items and doormats, and keep pets inside. We’ll set hose runs, shield sensitive electrical points, and move light furniture if needed.

How long does a typical house wash take?

Most single-family homes finish in a few hours, depending on size, access, and add-ons like roof, decks, and hardscapes.

What about runoff and environmental rules?

We direct water with intent, protect storm drains, and handle wastewater under EPA guidelines. Driveways and patios get vacuum recovery when the job calls for it.

How do you price a house wash?

We price by size, access, and included surfaces (siding, roof, decks, hardscapes). You’ll get a clear, upfront quote and a simple cadence for maintenance.
