Siding + Soft Washing: Why It Matters

Posted July 31, 2017

Have you been through a siding replacement project in the past year or two?

If the answer is "yes," we're probably getting a grimace attached to that answer. If the answer is "no," you're lucky - and should do everything you can to keep it that way.

This is at the core of why we use soft washing for our house washing services. We care about the quality of your siding - and we care about your investment.

Soft Washing: It's Good for Your Home

First, a quick recap: Soft washing is a low-pressure variety of power washing. Because it doesn't use the high PSI that pressure washing does, it's a gentler approach to house washing. And this is a benefit because:

  • It won't cause water damage. The power of pressure washing can force water behind your siding. The result: Water damage, rot, and the potential for a serious mold issue.
  • It won't damage your siding. Often, power washing uses so much force that it warps or cracks your siding. You'll never get that from soft washing.
  • It does the job, and it does it better. Soft washing allows us to be detailed and methodical in our house washing approach. And your home benefits.

When we think about house washing, we think about the big picture as well as the immediate results. And the quality, integrity, and curb appeal of your property always comes out on top.
